Founded in 1999, Pen Pal Ink's objective is to help schoolchildren to write to one another in different countries. The aim is international friendships.

Initially, links were set up by visiting schools in Canada, Guernsey in the Channel Islands, Malta, Switzerland, Grenada in the West Indies and England. Then links were established between South Africa and England.

In 2003 this website was set up to enable primary schools to organise their own partnerships. Any primary school can register for free by sending its details to the Secretary. From 2005 Peace Meetings have been held every year in London which are attended by representatives from the overseas Embassies and High Commissions.

Forever pax!
