Any primary schoolchild aged 11 or under is invited to send in a piece of prose written in English or French or German about his or her country. To be submitted with the name of the pupil and their age, the name and address of their primary school and the name of their country. To be sent by post to 15 Dolphin Court, Hove Street, Hove BN3 2DN, Great Britain by 30 April 2008.

The winner who, in the opinion of the judges, provides the best understanding of his or her country, will receive a cheque for GBP50. The decision of the panel is final.
